Terms of Use
Last updated: August 10, 2026
These terms provide a general framework for using BugPilot. A signed order form or service agreement controls where it states different terms.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use apply to your access to bugpilot.tech and the BugPilot service. By using BugPilot, you agree to these terms and any order form or service agreement that applies to your organization. If you use BugPilot for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept applicable terms on its behalf.
2. The service
BugPilot provides AI-assisted test generation, execution, diagnosis, repair, reporting, analytics, integrations, and related testing capabilities. Product functionality may evolve over time. Specific commercial terms, service levels, usage limits, and support commitments are governed by the applicable plan or written agreement.
3. Accounts and access
You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting access credentials, managing authorized users, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access. You may not share accounts in a way that bypasses agreed user or usage limits.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use BugPilot to violate law, infringe rights, access systems without authorization, distribute malicious code, disrupt services, evade security controls, or test applications and data you do not have permission to access. You must configure automated actions, environments, credentials, and data responsibly.
5. Customer content
You retain rights in information and materials you submit to BugPilot. You grant BugPilot the rights necessary to host, process, transmit, analyze, and display that content to provide and secure the service. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions required for customer content and test targets.
6. AI-assisted outputs
BugPilot can generate tests, analyses, classifications, repair suggestions, reports, and other outputs. These outputs should be reviewed in context, especially when they influence production systems, security, customer data, or release decisions. BugPilot does not remove the need for appropriate human judgment and validation.
7. Intellectual property
BugPilot and its licensors retain rights in the platform, software, interfaces, documentation, branding, and related technology. Except for rights expressly granted under an applicable agreement, no rights are transferred to you.
8. Fees and plans
Fees, billing periods, usage dimensions, renewal terms, and applicable taxes are described in the plan or order form. If no paid agreement applies, access may be subject to Free-plan limits.
9. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or terminated for material breach, security risk, unlawful use, non-payment where applicable, or as otherwise permitted by an agreement. On termination, access to the service may end and data will be handled according to the applicable agreement and retention practices.
10. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, BugPilot is provided without warranties not expressly stated in a written agreement. Automated testing and AI-assisted analysis can produce incomplete, uncertain, or incorrect results. You remain responsible for release decisions, risk acceptance, and appropriate review of outputs.
11. Limitation and governing terms
Limitations of liability, indemnities, governing law, dispute terms, and any service-specific commitments are set out in the applicable written agreement. If no separate agreement applies, mandatory local law governs to the extent it cannot be excluded.
12. Changes
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service, law, security requirements, or business practices. The updated date indicates the latest revision. Continued use after an update may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms can be submitted through the BugPilot contact form.
